Child and Family Safety
The Department of Children and Families works to ensure that all children are safe in their own homes. And, when that can not be assured, that they are provided a safe and loving foster or adoptive home. The Department will also work to ensure that children have access to health care, both physical and mental health; that they are well-educated; and that families are getting stronger as a result of being involved in our child welfare system.
