Division of Safety and Permanence
Fiscal and Contracting
The Division of Safety and Permanence mission is to ensure that children are safe in their own homes, and when that is not possible, to assure they are provided a safe and loving foster or adoptive home. Programs administered by the DSP include but are not limited to:
- Adoption, including Special Needs Adoption & Adoption Search
- Child Protective Services
- Bureau of Milwaukee Child Welfare
- Foster Care
- Kinship Care
- Independent Living and the ETV Program
- Brighter Futures
- Domestic Violence
- Indian Child Welfare
