Wisconsin Child Welfare Committee
Information
Wisconsin Child Welfare Committee advises the Division of Children and Family Services (DCFS)
in state and federal child welfare policy issues, the federal
Child and Family Services Review (CFSR),
and the annual Child Welfare Federal Services Plan.
The committee will take the place of the
existing Program Enhancement Plan (PEP) Implementation Team. Three of the
PEP
subcommittees will continue to exist as
workgroups -
Out-Of-Home Care,
Child Welfare Case Process, and
Continuous Quality Improvement.
The Adoption subcommittee will merge with the Out-Of-Home Care workgroup.
issues. The Wisconsin Child Welfare Committee will serve as an
executive steering committee to the three PEP
workgroups and will have a membership of approximately 25 persons. The committee
will be chaired by the DCFS
administrator.
