Father's Make a Difference

Father and Daughter

When fathers are active in the lives of their children, kids are more likely to graduate from high school and pursue a college education. They are also less likely to become depressed or abuse drugs or alcohol. An engaged father can improve the quality of life for a child and give a child the confidence they need to succeed. At the Department of Children and Families, we encourage all fathers to take time to be involved with their children, love them, laugh with them, and listen to them. We are committed to helping dads take an active role in their children's lives, strengthening families, building communities and creating a brighter future Wisconsin's Children.
