Rationale for Reasonable Suspicion of Program Violation:
The Department of Children and Families suspended this child care provider from the Wisconsin Shares program due to a combination of red flags signifying Shares violations and a comparison of collected attendance records versus hours billed. These red flags were identified through data and in person visits.
Provider has been previously suspended from the Wisconsin Shares program for repeated attendance related violations.
As of mid September, the provider was authorized to serve 22 Shares children, 17 of whom were children of employees, in a facility with a licensed capacity of 8.
During a recent visit, attendance records and employee timesheets were collected. Subsequent reviews concluded that the attended hours of child care for children of employees did not align with the hours that employees had been documented as working.
