The Department of Children and Families revoked the license of this child care program on January 23, 2009 in part for violations of the publicly subsidized Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), which is administered by the Department of Public Instruction. On December 16, 2008, Western Dairyland Child and Adult Care Food Program determined that Little Bear Day Care submitted false claims for reimbursement of meals served in family child care program during summer of 2008.
